Oh my goodness. My dental insurance doesn't cover immediate dentures. I had top set teeth for Amazon. They came out couldn't talk. But I this will happen again.

My tooth loss was from medication and drug use. I'm now 8 years sober

I soak my pots with dish soap over night works well. I will never see myself doing that sorry.😮

My teeth were breaking because of gastric bypass. I went to a non for profit place and got 26 teeth pulled for 240.00 two weeks later I got dentures it was horrible until I got my soft liner in that helped a bit but the swelling is going down

Day 9 and no where near eating solids

I know this is an old video but I just got my full uppers yesterday afternoon and I'm doing pretty well considering. The only thing I'm struggling with is not being able to eat food other than applesauce lol. I'm so hungry 😂 But I'm so happy I did this and i already love looking in the mirror and seeing beautiful teeth even though I look like a Who from Whoville from all the swelling lol.

I was told to take small bites and I bit my hamburger also lol, but couldn't cut threw the onion.. only been a week for me and I find it so hard. also, I can't eat unless I glue the bottoms, pops everytime.. thanks for video for us newbies

Hi. I don't even know if you will read this. I just came across your video. As a complete stranger, I want to tell you that my first thought was, oh my she is so pretty. I was just listening to you talk and thinking how your eyes are beautiful and so is your skin. I didn't know you before but, I just want you to know that a person's first impression of you is that you're just a doll. I'm just starting this process and I'm 61 years old. I just saw myself without teeth today, and I'm counting the days till I don't have to be here anymore because, I look like something from a Halloween horror film. I just want you to know that it's all relative. You are honing in on something that only you know. So, if you walked past me in a store and smiled, I would just think that I had just walked past the very pretty woman. So, please understand that when you hit 50, your life starts to fly by. I have no memory of 50 to 60 because, for the first 5 years I was taking care of my husband after he woke up from a coma. Then, the last five years I've been all alone as a widow. I've been trying to figure out how to live a very lonely life. You didn't make this video to make me feel better. But, you did. So, I'll keep my dentures clean and I won't eat anything crunchy and I'll be blessed that I have pretty teeth when they're in. And, I have to learn to love myself when they're not in. I hope you get this. Take good care of yourself because, you're healthy and pretty. So many people are neither. 💕 My mom just passed away 7 months ago and she was 87 years old. She had every single one of her original teeth. Life is a series of unknowns. I pray your life is happy and healthy and that you laugh a lot. I haven't laughed in over 4 years. ❤

Yes ma’am not only for old people I’m in my earliest 30th and I had to start with dentures. The plan is to get implants hopefully in about six months whenever heals. But I’m struggling to get used to this dentures I’ll being on my second week and I’m getting better than bad every day. I had an accident as well so I’m glad that I’m still here alive with a second chance, so for those people that think the dentures are only for old people WRONG

Thank You for this video. My dentist priscribed me an rx for my anxiety. I had 26 teeth extracted at once wide awake two weeks ago today. I'm currently dealing with 12 bone chips . I had one other come out already. My old regular doctor gave me tramdol when I was in my 20's for my arthritis. That 💩 made me feel like a zombie. My dentist isn't sure if I'll be able to wear dentures. Since my insurance covered 💯 extractions and will cover 💯 dentures, he said we can try dentures. We will do that after I heal from the full mouth extraction s. I go in at just under two months for the start of the denture process.

Week away from getting my permanent top dentures and bottom partials, ive spent 6 months without and feeling alone. I pray I look better and know my journey of talking and eating but I just need my self confidence, wasnt very high before so nervous and again pray Im as happy as you are

Got ceramic teeth dentures or composite very hard material. Snap on dentures are much better in comfort and eating .

29 years old. 32 days from full extractions and immediate dentures. Very very very over whelming and terrifying. Almost petrified about it but it’s too late to back out and I’m going to just suck it up and do it. But I’m scared

Hi Kayla. I just discovered your channel. One thing I have questions about, I started with one of your videos that was 6 years old. I'm watching this one, and you have re-learned how to talk in that space of time very well! I'm a 50 year old type 2 diabetic, getting my dentures through a dental school. Because I'm diabetic, they are making me wait 6 months after all the extractions before they put in new dentures. I'm kind of horrified.

I'm 50 and about to get dentures and I'm terrified,. I have diabetes and the dental school working on me is going to make me wait 6 MONTHS without teeth after the oral surgery to extract them. Thank you for being here, and talking about these things, even though your video is six years old.
